Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance:Work on the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Battery Storage Systems:Efficiently handle battery storage solutions, contributing to the overall energy management of solar farms.
- EV Installations:Assist with electric vehicle charging installations, supporting the transition to greener transportation.
- Team Collaboration:Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Battery Storage Systems:Design, implement, and maintain battery storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Solar Farm Construction:Provide expertise in the construction and operation of solar farms, from initial planning through to execution and maintenance.
- Electrical Systems:Work with low voltage (LV) systems up to 132kV, ensuring safe and efficient electrical infrastructure in renewable energy projects.
- Project Management:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Technical Support:Offer technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders related to battery storage and solar technologies.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulations and standards within the energy sector.
Requirements
- Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years in electrical work, specifically in construction and solar farm applications.
- Qualifications:
- 18th Edition City and Guilds certification
- NVQ in Electrical Installation (desirable)
- Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proven track record in the industry.
